Family Learning in Museums: The PISEC Perspective specifically looks at
family learning in museums and offers clear definitions of what this means
to them. Available through the ASTC bookstore.

The Journal of Museum Education, v.22, n.1-3, Understanding the Visitor
Experience: Theory and Practice offers an excellent overview of the state of
the field just a few years ago. Issues are available from the Museum

The Informal Learning Review devoted their March/April 1999 issue to
learning theories and their application in the informal museum context. Some
