Last summer while vacationing in New Orleans (hey, it's hot here, why not go
to New Orleans?), I went to the LA State Historical Museum and they had an
exhibit on the growth of the city away from the original section (ie French
Quarter).  The areas covered are no longer suburbia--would they count?
