Actually your best bet is what is known as Ice-T grants...They are
Transportation grant and a Route 66 Museum would be perfect....if you have your
501(c)(3), which you SHOULD, you can apply directly.  You don't have to go through a
municipality.  Not-for-profits are able to apply.
