Hi Sue,

We have security staff at almost all times, even though other staff is around.  Only at the beginning or end of a day w/o special events or other public access perhaps when an exhibit is being worked on or a staff member says they're working late in the admin. offices & ok security to leave do they go.

We have 1 security person who is part of our perm. staff the others are p/t contract through a security agency to eliminate benefits, etc.  You might look into that.
