The Phillips is lovely -- check to see if they have having concerts
in the gallery while you are there. And as long as you are across
the street, drop in by the Museum of the Cincinnati if it is open.
It's a mansion filled with memorabilia of the Society of the
Cincinnati, ranging from very good portraits through lead soldiers
to a collection of "jade trees". When I was there several years
ago, the staff was one old man who handed me a laminated typed
sheet as a catalog, which was to be returned when I left. Since
then, the Cincinnati has been one of my favorite "little" museums.
