Jacob Lawrence also did a series of prints called The Library which depicts
African American children and adults reading and interacting inside a
library. I don't know if this would be what you might be looking for.  I'm
sure you could find the image in the catalogue raisonne just out, or else in
another book of his prints or paintings.
