Hi, I work for the National Museum of Women in the Arts in DC and the
founder is Wilhelmina Holladay. Also the New Museum of Contemporary Art
in New York was founded by Marcia Tucker. Non-profit art spaces like
Franklin Furnace, NYC was started by Martha Wilson and Exit Art, NYC was
co-founded by Jeanette Ingberman. The MOMA, NYC was started by 2 or
3women, and I think the Guggenheim was fonded by a women but don't quote
me.
