If this is more or less the same exhibition as the one at The Royal Academy
of Art in London a year or two ago, called Sensations, it is one of the
most stimulating and thoughtprovoking art exhibitions I have seen for
years. And the title need not refer to it's ability to provoce
sensationalistic headings in the media, but may have more subtle meanings.

But no matter the quality of the exhibition, a western European politician
trying to do anything like the N.Y. mayor is doing in relation to this
exhibition, would immediately have been attacked by all media and cultural
institutions of all kinds alike, since they would rightfully fear that it
might be their turn next to have their freedom limited.

What is happening to America? We are really getting worried over here on
the other side of the Atlantic.
