Bob,

Lehrman Cameron Studio is developing and designing an interactive music
education center for the Seattle Symphony in their new facility in
downtown Seattle. It will combine exhibit, performance, and workshop
environments, with an anticipated opening in late 2000, early 2001. I
would be happy to talk with you about it when you're in Seattle later
this month.

That Field Museum music exhibit that someone else mentioned is by Bruce
Odland, a brilliant NY-based musician/public artist. He uses current
music technology to interpret a selection of musical artifacts from the
Field collections. Of course, there is What Makes Music?, the
Franklin's long-running travelling exhibit on music. That show must be
breaking records for its longevity on the road by now. And then there's
the Experience Music Project, in development at Seattle Center,
promising all kinds of music experiences when it does open. I won't
even venture a guess on that one.

Regards,

Max Cameron
