When I did some registrar work for the Whitney, they used Artex. I never
saw the bills, and would guess they are expensive, but it may be worth
investigating.

Good luck.

Subject: Shipper for donation to museum

My employer is interested in making a donation to a museum. It's a
"decorative" work of art, weighs about 400 lbs, and has to be crated.
It
will be traveling from NYC to Missouri. Any ideas about a good, yet
inexpensive shipper?

Back when I worked for a NY gallery, we used a shipper who works for
non-profits, as I recall. We used it for a client who was loaning a
piece
to MOMA. Does anyone know who that might have been, and if they might
make
runs out to Missouri?

Thank you so much for your help!
