It’s not too late to register! There are still seats

available in the July 22 workshop “Historic Binding

Structures: Coptic Bindings” sponsored by the Graduate

School of Library and Information Science at the University

of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. This workshop will be

taught by Jennifer Hain Teper, Head of the Department of

Conservation, University Library.

Workshop description: Coptic bindings are the oldest “codex”

style book structure. In this workshop, participants will

create their own Coptic style bindings, including oak boards

and braided headbands.

Cost: $109 includes $20 material fee
