I've used Past Perfect at all of the small museums I've worked at and I'm a
huge fan. Its very well organized and very user friendly so it's easy to
pick up how to use it and consequently to train volunteers to use it as
well. I also highly recommend getting the annual support service - I don't
usually have problems and need to call their support line, but when I have
had to they were incredibly friendly, helpful and patient and talked me
through fixing glitches or helping me figure out things I didn't know how to
do.

There's a lot you can do with it, I'm a big fan and highly suggest investing
in it!

All the best,

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Collection Management Software Suggestions?

I work for a small non-profit with an art collection of about 2,000 objects.
We occasionally loan works, and accession several items each year. We are
considering switching our collection management software from Microsoft
Access to PastPerfect as an affordable, out-of-the-box solution. I wanted to
get some thoughts or tips from people who work with PastPerfect, and see if
there are other affordable software recommendations for a small collection.

Thanks!
