David, in absolute seriousness, could you PLEASE stop
publically admonishing the peer group for spelling? I
blew it the other night and typed Yates instead of
Yeats. You were correct that it was Yeats, and I, in
my haste to send off a thought before I lost it,
scrambled the letters in the name (probably thinking
on Andrea Yates, though I knew the author had no real
correlation to Andrea).

This is the web, after all, and people WILL make
errors in their spelling, grammar, and punctuation on
occasion because this is still a more informal means
of communication. I don't think anyone does it
willfully, and not all have the gift of literary
brilliance. That does not negate their contributions.

Could you please stick to the concept the group member
is attempting to communicate and stop castigating
people for human errors. It's really awfully rude!

People with sufficiently less self-confidence may not
post knowing they could be publically shamed if they
make a gaffe, and we may lose a valuable idea as a
result.

You have a lot to offer the group in terms of your
museum knowledge. Please stick to that.
