Seeking Experienced Conservator

Conservator sought by Numismatic Conservation Services (www.ncscoin.com) to
direct newly-formed division of the company devoted to conservation of a
wide variety of artifacts from shipwrecks ranging from Classical
Mediterranean sites to 19th Century steamships.

The primary client for these activities initially is Odyssey Marine
Exploration (www.shipwreck.net).

Graduate degree or equivalent experience in artifact conservation and
practical real world experience required.

Position involves ability to perform and supervise ongoing work in the
laboratory and field, long-term planning for the conservation of a wide
assortment of materials from shipwreck excavations.

Conservator will be called on to assist in training, logistical planning for
fieldwork, and laboratory development.
