Anita,

Can you direct me to some articles or studies that describe a "typical"
museum-goer - their average age, education level, where they live and how
they tend to visit museums? I am working on a marketing plan for my museum,
and a board member asked me to compare the demographics of our visitors to
that of this so-called "typical" visitor. We are in NYC, so anything I find
out must necessarily be adapted to this very unique breed - The New Yorker.
But I would be grateful for any leads I can follow up here in our local
library. Anything in American Demographics per chance?? Thank you!!
