I completed part of my MA in education through distance learning, but it
was from a brick and mortar school...I had to move for a job with about
2 semesters left. In museum studies, though, I would definitely want the
hands-on experience that a DL program can not provide.

Subject: Re: Graduate School Recommendations?

This is a very interesting discussion as I am contemplating grad school
i= n museum studies too. Thanks for all the great advice, especially
about getting a MA in a specific field and then a cert in Museum
Studies. What = do you all think about distance-learning programs then?
Is a grad degree obtained through distance-learning as "valuable" as one
that is done loca= lly (US vs from other countries) in the museum field?
