We have some rare books that have come into our
collection and do not currently have the
staff/time/space to inventory each and every one and
house them on book shelving. I would like to store the
books in standard 10X12X14 archival boxes wrapped in
acid free tissue paper temporarily. Aside from
checking the books from mold how would you advise
storing the books in these boxes? Would it be highly
damaging to stack the books in the boxes?
Thanks in advance for any advice you send my way.
C. Stumm
