The Lehigh County Historical Society in Allentown was the institution
offering the paid internship cataloging objects and preparing
an old house for use as a collections storage facility.  We have
already hired someone for the position.

A good source of information on jobs/internships in Pennsylvania is
the Pennsylvania Federation of Museums and Historical Organizations in

the executive director; Rhonda Newton is the assistant to the director.
They can be a big help.

The Heritage Center Museum of Lancaster, phone number (717) 299-6440,
hires educational interns for the summer.  As of two weeks ago, their
curator of education, Kim Fortney, was having trouble filling the
positions so there might be some left.
