Incorporate? Why? Most self employed consultants do not get into
incorporation and pay corporate taxes. Incorporation is done to protect
your presonal assets if a client sues you. I don't see a liablilty issue
for writing a simple grant. The best writer in the world cannot change
problems with an organization that a funder would be concerned with.
Writing the grant is only part of winning it.

Taxes can seem bad because you have to pay Soc Security. If you are only
worried about that, don't do it. If you want to build a resume to be a
independent consultant in the future, then so it.
