Senior Content Producer/Editor
For our client, a unique start-up providing innovative services for the art
world and its participants, we are seeking a Senior Content Producer/Editor.
The company is currently developing a comprehensive online art-information
resource, aggregating content from thousands of global sources. The
Producer/Editor will manage the editorial calendar and process, ensuring
that content is relevant and meets established standards. Producer/Editor
also prioritizes and itemizes content types and defines workflows for the
integration of new content into the site. This position reports directly to
the COO.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, ambitious and hard
working, with the ability to carry out projects from start to finish, and be
a creative thinker and problem solver. She/He will also have experience with
managing an editorial calendar, knowledge of the Art Market and some
data/content management.  Requirements include: experience in managing an
editorial/publishing calendar; strong editing skills; strong knowledge of
arts and culture; prior experience in on-line publishing and developing data
entry standards or style guides; experience in image management; familiarity
with languages such as German, French, or Russian is a plus.  Send cover
