Lark Books 1996 catalogue lists what I think is a new book (cuz I've
never seen it anywhere before!). It's "The Art of Hair Work: Hair
Braiding and Jewelry of Sentiment" by Mark Campbell. It's listed as a
reprint of an 1875 book, and includes designs for making your own
pieces. Sounds like it would fit the bill from the catalogue
description. Lark is at 50 College St., Asheville, NC 28801, or
1-800-284-3388. I've always been very pleased with their service and
stock. (Not a paid advert, just a satisfied customer!)
