The complete transcripts from the Smithsonian symposium, "Museums for the
New Millennium," are finally up on our web site.  Visit the virtual
edition of this landmark program at

(In the next few weeks the on-line  transcripts will be edited for
spelling, grammar and other mistakes.)  The site will remain available
through at least April of 1997 and will be enhanced with links to
speakers/organizations and the addition of a discussion group to continue
talking about issues raised during the symposium.
