Why does this strike me as:

"Tall, dark, and handsome male, seeks talented and
intellectually stimulating female. For a good time,
call . . ."?

We've managed to forgo many of these "I need a job
requests" by creating a couple of other opportunities:

1. Check out Roger Smith's Global Museum Newsletter.
2. Check the archives for sources where to look for a
museums-related job, and chances are, most of them
will be in the Nonprofits and Museums section of my
employment website, located in my signature file.
3. Come and join us at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseJobs , where 400
others are also on the lookout for job opportunities.
4. Use Roy Hemmat's MuseumStuff.com and query for
museums in the area in which you are hoping to work.
Check the specific entities to see if, perhaps, they
are hiring.
5. Set up alerts on any of a number of
employment-related websites. They're usually free,
and sometimes on target.
6. Check with Geri Thomas of Art Staffing if you're
hoping to work in or around NYC.
7. Register with any of a number of "headhunters",
some of which are also on my employment website (see
my sigfile).

Good luck. Congratulations on your new degree.
