The Science Centre and Planetarium in Wollongong (Australia)
incorporates a planetarium (Zeiss projector) and an observatory.
These two elements provide a different sort of space to the
science theatre and hands-on galleries. They satisfy the need to
illustrate this aspect of science which is in high demand by
schools and the public. 89% of our school visitors and 69% of our
public visitors choose to pay a small premium to attend a
planetarium program.

We also use the theatre for presentations which demand quality
seating and excellent AV facilities - corporate events, laser
concerts etc.

Interns work in the planetarium as presenters.

Our telescopes include a fully automated stellar instrument and a
solar telescope.

Hope this answers your questions.
