I would like to point out that the website www.museumpests.net that was mentioned in another response not only has information useful for identification of the most common museum pests - but also a wealth of resources on integrated pest management - i.e. how to prevent infestations and treat collections safely if infestations are noted. You can also register there for the PestList - an e-mail list dedicated to these concerns.

Best,

Subject: bugs and appraisers

I have two questions:

Is there an online source for identifying bugs which like to reside in museums?
