I am doing a research paper on Effigy Mounds and steps taken to preserve a
collection that is a part of a natural landscape.

Does anyone know of resources that would help to understand the issues that
arise in dealing with a collection that is not extractable and instead has to
be taken care of for a large part in an uncontrollable environment?
