Hello all,

We have recently renovated/expanded a former closed to house our 3-D
collection. Some of the objects are housed in boxes, others will be
placed directly on the shelves (powder-coated finish, metal). I was
looking at a series of open shelves; however, it has been suggested to
me by our planning office that I attach the shelves to the walls
directly (they listed a variety of reasons, but one had to do with
egress and a huge preexisting concrete column/air supply in the area).
It is not what I originally had in mind, but I could be open to it.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Best,
Cheryl
