To All Museum-L subscribers.

Please note that I, with a small crew of research colleagues, have launched
a new professional development site called Mouseia

The url is:
http://www.utoronto.ca/mouseia

Please have a look and explore. There are still items to tweak, to add and
refine. I am looking for additions, feedback and for submissions or original
material such as bibliographies, articles, reports, etc.

The web site will have two territories. The one will be very much
user-driven and the other peer-reviewed. To the end of the latter, over the
next months, we will be shaping an on-line peer review set of publications
to include a journal, selected theses, research papers, bibliographies, etc.

It is very much my intention that the site will develop to be an
international reference site for museology/museum studies academic study and
professional development. I look forward to your help in this endeavour.

Many thanks,
Lynne Teather,
Assoc. Prof.,
Museum Studies,
University of Toronto.

*(Latin for festival of the Muses).
