Converting analog audio sources to digital is fairly simple. You need a
computer with a CD burner and appropriate software. I recommend the
PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor, which does a fine job and is very
easy to use. This software is available from www.polderbits.com. You can
download it and use it for two weeks without charge. If you decide to
purchase it the price will depend on the current conversion rate for euros
to dollars (it's a Dutch company). I purchased it this past August for
$33.50.
