Collection Internship

1999 Summer Internship - Data Entry/Collections

· Application deadline - March 15, 1999
· Notification deadline - on or before April 15, 1999
· Dates of internship - June 2 to Sept 7, 1999 (negotiable)
· Payment - $2,100 for length of internship
· One position available 
· Vehicle not necessary

Qualifications:
Educational background in museum studies and/or museum collection
experience preferred.

Duties:  
The collection intern is responsible for data entry into the collection
catalog (mostly from photographic materials) and organizing collection
subgroupings (i.e. education collection, update the video inventory, etc.).
 The intern would also be expected to assist with staffing the
Wheeler-Stallard House Museum and special events.
