The New Zealand National Maritime Museum is re-opening its galleries to the
public, at the request of Auckland City Council.

Despite the current power crisis in the CBD, the Maritime is fortunately
drawing its electricity from a sub station outside the cable effected zone.

As the City is keen for business and patronage in the central city to thrive,
the Museum is happy to play its part by opening its doors and switching on the
lights!
