SOUTH AFRICAN ASSOCIATION OF ART HISTORIANS ANNUAL CONFERENCE: CALL FOR PAPERS
 
The 11th annual  conference of the South African Association of Art Historians
will take place in Johannesburg between the 5th and 8th of July 1995. The theme
 of the conference is: ART, CULTURE AND THE MECHANISMS OF POWER AND MEANING. Th
e theme is intended to provide scope for a wide range of papers focussing on ob
jects and contexts, and is not limited to individuals working within the discip
line of art history. Please send proposals to:
