        Hi all ---

Taxacom is kind of a generic name for a bunch of
services. So taxacom includes a listserver, a gopher and
also a BBS. At the time, Taxacom as a unity is in
a state of some flux. One of the originators and maintainers
has passed his duties to others while he pursues other matters.
The listserver is located at harvarda.harvard.edu. To
subscribe, mail to [log in to unmask] with the usual
information. Mail to [log in to unmask] to post
to the list. The taxacom gopher is commonly called
the Biodiversity and Biological Collections Gopher, and is now
located at muse.bio.cornell.edu. As far as I know, the
Taxacom FTP site is still located at huh.harvard.edu. Hope this
helps.

Cheers,
