The Association of Science Technology Centers' ASTC Sourcebook of Statistics
& Analysis defines very small, small, medium, and large institutions
according to their interior exhibit space. Very small is less than 12,000
square feet or 1,116 meters and small is between 12,001 and 25,000 square
feet or between 1,117 and 2,325 square meters.
