I am looking for references to books, articles, thesis and papers related to
the history of museums (in the broadest sense) of countries and locales
outside of the usual U.S., British, European (i.e.. French for the most
part) selection. Any help from list members would be appreciated.

This effort is part of a new course I am developing on the history of
Canadian museums that attempts to situate the Canadian museum movement in a
global museum perspective of development.

The results will be mounted on the web for museum professionals.

Many thanks in advance for your cooperation,

Lynne Teather,
Prof. Museum Studies Program,
Univ. of Toronto.
