I am looking into putting together an exhibit policy for our historical park. We do not currently have one. It would address issues such as:

-Visitor access (universal design, access to buildings and collection year round, ADA, etc.)
-Exhibit building staging and setup (I don't mean construction; we have about 30 exhibit buildings at the park)
        -Cleaning
-Maintenance (e.g., repairs, light bulb replacement, etc.)
-Building usage policy (rentals, storage, etc.)
-Standard and practices for exhibit design (research, font styles and sizes, installation, style guide, lexicon, etc.)
        -Educational programming
        -Interactives

If your organization has something like and you are willing to share it, please let me know.

Thanks,
Steve Lucht
