Manager, Technology Advancement

American Association of Museums seeks an individual to oversee daily
operations of departmental database used to support the programs and
services of Museum Advancement and Excellence (Museum Assessment Program,
Accreditation and Technical Information Service), and provide general
technical software support for departmental staff.  Duties include:
supervise use of MS Access database for 10 staff; analyze and design
programming applications; provide general technical support; assist IT staff
in association-wide computer conversion and local network support; assist
with on-line and web services.  Ideal applicant will have strong interest in
museum and/or educational programs; strong computer and/or network skills
(MS Office, Win98, NT); excellent communication and presentation skills;
excellent analytic and organizational skills.  Salary upper '20s to low '30s
depending on experience.  AAM offers comprehensive benefits, close to metro.
