The new building for the Moderna Museet was inaugurated in February 1998.
The Museum reflects, collect and preserve modern and contemporary art of
all kind of materials and techniques. Since the 1st of July 1999 the Museum
is a Stately Organisation on it’s own with about 70 staff members.
In the Conservation Department there are 3 Conservators on painting and 1
Conservator on photo + 1 Assistant and we now open a position as
PAPER CONSERVATOR
with special in paper but with interest in and knowledge about combined
materials used under the 20th centaury and today.
The position is full-time and from 1st of October 2000.
The Conservator shall independently execute conservations with
investigations and documentations and take part in the exhibition- work.
The qualification required is:
- Approved Conservation training
- Brood Art historian knowledge
- Advanced esthetical sensibility for the art pieces both in a
technological and art wise
- Documented former experience
