As a mother who nursed her child for 2 + years in all sorts of public
venues, I must reiterate the opinions of those who posted the easiest
solution:

PROVIDE A PRIVATE PLACE TO NURSE and don't have a "no breastfeeding"
policy--yikes!

If you've never nursed a child, it's difficult to know how hard it is to
find a private place to feed him/her. I think most nursing mothers would
prefer to do it in a quiet, private area when in public. I couldn't agree
more that we, as a society, condone the worship of women's breasts be it on
television, in paintings, or on film. But when a woman actually uses them by
design, Lord help her.

One last note--I have to say that I am incredibly impressed by the sensitive
and intelligent responses that men have posted on this subject. Thank you
for being more in tune to the needs of human beings than some of the women
listers.
