The Abigail Adams Smith Museum is a small historic-house museum located on
Manhattan's Upper East Side, interpreting the circa 1830 Mount Vernon
Hotel, NYC's last surviving country day resort.

The Museum seeks a Collections Care Technician to work under the
supervision of the Curator on a project to improve the storage of the
collection of American furniture and decorative arts, costumes, quilts,
textiles, and works on paper, including historical archives and documents.
The position is for one to two days per week, for up to twelve months, $10
- $12 per hour, starting immediately.

Candidates should have a strong background in decorative arts,
conservation or museum studies, or relevant museum experience.  A college
