Hi John . . . not sure about the committee, but do know of a terrific,
grass roots, organization that helps small museums in Virginia, Maryland,
Delaware and PA called "The Small Museums Association."  Based in Maryland.
 Their annual conference is held in Ocean City, MD each February
(2/21-2/23/99).  Call Jeff Buchheit, chair, at the Historical Electronics
Museum in Baltimore (can't find # at the moment, look in the AAM
directory).
