We are conservators at the Peabody Museum at Harvard University currently 
researching a set of post-colonial Inca figurines. The figures depict Inca 
royalty and were collected in 1816 in Lima, Peru. They are made from 
polychrome wood with lead/tin alloy hands and glass eyes. The collection 
contains seven figurines including Manc-c Ccapac and 2 Mama Ccora Oclloas 
as well as five other male and female figurines. They are believed to be 
part of a larger set that represented all of the Inca royalty. The 
approximate height of each figurine is 30.5 cm.

We recently met with two professors at Harvard University and they believe 
that the figures date after 1748 based upon the style of crowns.

We are looking for museums that might have similar figurines in their 
collections. As far as we know, these objects appear to be relatively rare 
and so far, we have not found other collections that have similar figurines.
