SITES is please to announce immediate openings for several of our
current art exhibitions for 1998.  Listed in order of availability by date:

AVAILABLE:  January 24 - March 8, 1998
FULL DECK ART QUILTS: The creative interpretation of a 52-card deck of
playing cards (plus two jokers) by 56 artists uniformly sized at 28" x 18".
Include text panels; three that have cases so that the viewer can see the
back as well as the front of the quilts.  A uniform hanging system
accompanies the exhibition for easy wall hanging. Exhibitor kit includes
educational and press materials. Catalogue available from an
independent publisher.

Participation Fee: $3,900 for a 6 week booking
Shipping: Prorated, SITES Designated carrier

AVAILABLE:  February 7 - April 5, 1998 and July 25 - October 4,
1998
SEEING JAZZ:  Presents a panorama of artistic responses to jazz
through a collection of 73 pieces of artwork including:  paintings,
sculpture, drawings, collages, and photographs.  The works of such
artists as Romare Bearden, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Norman Lewis, Stuart
Davis, Anthony Barboza, Archibald Motley, Jr., Sam Gilliam, Eugene
Smith, and others express the many rhythms and moods of jazz music.
Accompanying the artworks are labels and panels that explain the
artists' connection to jazz and present literary selections from prominent
writers who were similarly inspired including:  Julio Cortazar, Ntozake
Shange, Ralph Ellison, Toni Morrison, and many others.  Includes
144-page catalogue, exhibitor kit, text panels and labels.

Participation fee:  $15,000 for a 10 week booking (first available booking
is only 8 weeks--reduced fee to $12,000)

ART OF JACK DELANO:  Represents the first major efforts to bring
together the extraordinary range of Delano's artistic endeavors including
his contributions to the Farm Security Administration collection of New
Deal photographs, chronicler of change in postwar Puerto Rico, as a
filmmaker, as a composer, and as an illustrator of children's books
designed in collaboration with his wife, Irene. 72 black-and-white and
color photographs, 10 text panels, biographical panel, 6-8
quote plaques, 2-3 posters, paper labels, and exhibitor kit.

Participation fee: $2,500 for a  8-week booking
