As a result of our continuing efforts to improve our services, the
    Internet connection to the Web site of the Canadian Heritage
    Information Network (CHIN) (www.chin.gc.ca) has been upgraded 6 fold!
    (The speed of the Internet link went from 256 kilobits per second to T1
    which is 1.5 megabits per second.) We hope that you notice a
    significant performance enhancement when accessing the resources on our
    Web site. Look for other changes to improve performance in the near
    future.
