I don't know how you can obtain a reproduction of the painting, but a private
collection means it is a privately owned work, that is, it is in the
possession of an individual or family, and therefore unlikely to be used for
mass reproduction.  Even in blockbuster shows, you'll often see that the only
works reproduced for posters, cards, etc., are those that are held by
institutions owned by or at least open to the public.
