I agree with the previous poster, in terms of the danger of damage from pipes that will burst.  The damage to the collections and building would be extensive and in many cases impossible to repair.

The concept of freezing the building to kill pests is something along the line of firing a missile at your home, to kill a house fly.  It might work, but things won't be the same ...
