Museum Director:
The City of Ketchikan, Alaska, seeks a dynamic professional to lead its
museum facilities and programs into the future.  This is not a caretaker
position.  Fund raising, marketing, grant writing, planning and
development skills are needed to ring our collections to their fullest
potential.  The Museum Department operates a local history museum and a
native cultural heritage/arts center.  Experience with local stake
holders, capital improvement projects and financial and personnel
management are highly desired.  This position reports to the City
Manager.  Requires a bachelors degree(masters preferred) and three years
of experience in a museum or corporate setting or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.  Starting at $48,109 to $55,015
