Canalways Program Coordinator

The Canalways Program Coordinator will be responsible for organizing the Museum’s annual Canalways Program from April until June. The Canalways Coordinator will require the organization and management of an educational program for 4th grade students in the Capital Region. Duties include scheduling dates with schools for the programs, managing 10-15 program volunteers, and helping to teach the students about the history of the Erie Canal in a fun and interactive way.

The Canalways Program Coordinator position requires strong communication and inter-personal skills as well as attention to detail. Flexibility and an upbeat personality are critical.

Pay will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

*	Bachelor's degree preferred
*	Strong managerial and interpersonal skills
*	Experience working in customer service
*	Strong organizational skills
*	Experience managing a database
*	Strong computer skills
*	Desire to work in a museum setting
*	Strong communication and presentation skills
