There are often local groups associated with different cultures that can
assist with visas and contacts abroad--check with your Chamber of Commerce.
For example, we have a pan-African group here that assists with both
business-related and artistic exchanges, as well as an active connection
with various cities in South Africa that brings adult interns to
Indianapolis to work with the nonprofit community.

There is also a major African artists biennial held in Dakar, Senegal,
called DAK'ART, going on right now. Here is their website:
http://www.dakart.org/sommaire_en.php3 Perhaps this will help as well.
