Hello everyone! We could use some advice. We're trying to transport an eighteenth century card table from Halifax, N.S. to Laurel, M.D. As you would imagine, we're running into some customs problems because one of the species of wood is listed under CITES II. We received a quote from a shipping company for antique furniture that is a bit out of our price range so we're trying to gather what other museums have done in the past. Is it easier to make the trip to Nova Scotia ourselves? My question is then, what happens when going through customs? Any advice is appreciated.
